Money raised will be used to ensure that the homeless youth that come to YO (Youth Outreach) will have access nutritious food (fresh fruits, vegetables & dairy products) that YO's meager budget just is not able to cover. We are looking to raise enough money to cover the weekly food donations to YO for a year (which averages about $500 a month) and enough left over to start a robust building fund for a shelter dedicated to serving our homeless youth population.

Artist De Chambs' Bio:

De Chambs was a World War II veteran, stationed with the 12th Armored Division, he studied at Parsons School of Design. His artwork has been shown from New York to Hawai'i. His pieces appear in the collections of Mrs. Paul Mellon, Harry Belafonte, the late Rex Harrison and in other collections in New York, Vermont, California, Florida, United Kingdom, Vancouver and of course Hawai'i.

About Us

Rainbow Family 808: A local 501 (c) 3 non-profit volunteer organization, which is dedicated to helping all families, with an emphasis on LGBTQ issues. Since our founding, we have championed YO: Youth Outreach Clinic which is a program out of the Waikiki Health Center, while also advocating for Honolulu's homeless youth at Honolulu Hale and the Hawai'i Legislature. Fact is that 40% of the homeless youth population identifies as LGBTQ, while LGBTQ make up about 13% of the general population, which one of the many reasons we have taken up this mantel.
